Wedding Proposal for the Olimpic diver Johan Jimmy Sjödin in the romantica frame of Venice!

Johan Jimmy Sjödin  is a former sweden diver, who competed in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta in the men’s platform and springboard diving events. He stopped diving when was 20, and after discovering he was gay, he moved to US. Since that time, he has done everything: bar tending and waiting, then fashion stylist work, then graphic design for the last ten years.

Early last year he met a german body builder and graphic designer, Patrick Huber, 34. They’ve been dating for the past 17 months, and have both documented their relationship via Instagram.

‘We met on Facebook a while back,’ says Sjödin. ‘We chatted a bit and then we lost contact. I think he was seeing someone and I was seeing someone. We then started talking again and just hit it off. It was about 17 months ago. We live together in Munich.’

On Wenesday night Patrick called Jimmy and suprised him asking to pack because they were going to leave for an amazing adventure… So Jimmy packed his bag and got in the car, and the two started driving down the Alps ending up in Venice, one of the top list place for Jimmy to visit.

They had a gret time in town, and on Friday they took a gondola ride. Once on board Jimmy discovered that with them, there was also a professional photografer, and he didn’t actually under stand why!

Jimmy tells that:  ‘Then all of a sudden, he gets down on one knee in the gondola and pops the question. He starts crying! I was just so shocked. I don’t even remember what he said!’

For now, the two are happy and focused on planning their wedding, that will probably by on next 28th May, the exact day where we became boyfriends in New York!

Sooooo romantic!!
