Simbolic Ceremony: many different options to create your perfect event!

Simbolic ceremonies have no legal value, but could be as unforgettable as the civil ones, as you can choose from different rituals, the one that fit more perfectly your couple and describe better your love!

Do you need some ideas? Here our suggestions!

  • The Ribbon Ritual: The ribbon ritual is a great occasion to allow your guests/relatives to take active part in your wedding ceremony. We can use from 4 to 13 colored ribbons representing either the protection of the 4 elements or the qualities your guests wish for you in your union. These will be gently wrapped around your wrists, and your guest will have the opportunity to pronounce a few words to express their wishes for you.
  • Unity Candle Ritual: The bride and groom are handed two individual candles and helped light them: in turn, the couple lights the center candle, representing the unity of their new family. The bride and groom will not lose their personal identity, instead, they will use their individuality to create and strengthen the relationship of marriage. Therefore all three candles remain lit.  The mothers, or the parents, may be included in this ritual, highlighting the heritage that is passed on.
  • The warming of the rings: This is another ritual that gives you the opportunity to include all your guests in the wedding ceremony. By passing your rings around in a satchel, your guests will have a few seconds to hold your rings in their hands to make their silent wish for your future life together, before passing them on to the next guest.
  • The exchange of the rings: This is the most required one. Bride&Groom can decide to exchange anything, it doesn’t necessarily have to be a regular rings as in a Civil Ceremony! Why don’t you think about exchanging some poets? Or songs? Or a tattoo for example?
